Taylor High School provides various preadvanced and college board-advanced placement courses for students in grades 9 through 12. The school offers classes in English, creative writing, physical education, communication application, mathematics, Spanish, Latin and German. Its science curriculum features biology, chemistry, physics, aquatic science, and anatomy and physiology. Taylor High School additionally provides instruction in fine arts, social studies, home economics, agricultural science, and trade and industrial education. The school s library stocks a selection of textbooks, reference materials, encyclopedias, dictionaries, magazines and newspapers. It offers special programs for gifted and talented, homeless, bilingual and migrant students, as well as for students with disabilities. Taylor High School is governed by Taylor Public Schools, which also operates several elementary and middle schools.
