Taunton Lodge of Elks is Lodge #150 of the Elks community, which has 2,000 lodges and 850,000 members across the nation. Taunton Elks holds meetings on the second and fourth Tuesday of every month. Its community projects include the Dictionary Project that donates dictionaries to 3rd graders in the area, scholarships, Veterans Giving Tree, food pantry, Christmas parade, Flag Day Ceremony, Mother's Day brunch, Thanksgiving Scholarship, and Breakfast Fundraisers. Donations are welcome in the form of money as well as volunteers. Founded in 1868, the Elks community provides charitable community services, such as raising and distributing funds and volunteering for causes.
