Find someplace else! Our child was initially assigned an instructor who seemed pretty good, then he was re-assigned to someone else. I think they use contractors or instructors so the quality is probably really hit or miss. That instructor was routinely late and would simply pull up to the front of the house and wait there until someone noticed him and went out. He wasn't particularly good and yelled all the time. We used a group-on for the five hour class and one additional lesson. The lesson was supposed to be done in two weeks, that was six weeks ago. We call the school and they keep promising someone will call back, no one ever does. The main office is totally disorganized. I would HIGHLY recommend going elsewhere. If I could have given zero stars I would have.

Horrible experience. The customer service was terrible. The office staff was rude and arrogant. My son signed up for drivers ed. We never received notification that he was not in the program because there was no other student to drive with him because of the number of student enrolled. There are four to a car and he was the odd man out. It takes a rocket scientist to figure out that taking one student from two other cars and putting them with my son makes three in a car and everyone is happy and acomadated. Still trying to work this out. Would never deal with this company again and will tell everyone not to use them. My school district is also aware of the situation and will be looking into other companies for the future.

My son just passed his road test and got his license after taking several lessons from PAS. His instructor John was great. He was always on time and very helpful to my son. I highly recommend PAS to anyone who is looking for a driving school for their children.

My daughter took their drivers ed durning the summer at the Clarkstown School District. She drove every other day, with 3 other kids in the car, at 15-20 minute intervals each. Needless to say she wasn't AT ALL prepared or ready to drive on her own after the 7 weeks time was over. Her instructor never once s/w us to let us know he thought or concerns. Bottom line, if you just wanna pass the course this is the right school for you.

I took this course over the summer at the Clarkstown school district. At the initial meeting, they were very accommodating in rescheduling me, however I wish I stayed with my original instructor. Although some of the other driving instructors seemed professional, mine was far from it. Their "dual-controlled" cars consist of an extra mirror and brakepedal welded on, which my instructor insisted on riding the entire time. I explained to him before our first lesson that I had never driven before, but that did not stop him from making me drive first, and into one of the busiest roads at high traffic. His criticism was was not constructive, and more along the lines of verbal attacks, such as asking me "why I was so stupid," and "if I even bother to think." Before and after the lesson he wants nothing to do with you. I feel like my driving hasn't improved at all, and I wish I had my money back. Buyer Beware: Make sure you meet your driver before the lesson!

AWFUL SERVICE, AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE, NON COMPLIANT

This company is not professional. We told them over and over again the days the student could not drive, which was a Friday. What do you think they gave him, FRIDAY. Went we called to have it fixed it took 3 weeks for someone to call to let us know the other students would not switch. Note, no one was driving yet when we called. The woman answering the phone gives out false information. She does not know the format of the driving school, but told us the student will only have one day a week for classroom and driving. When I called back to find out why he had two days, I was told woman answering phone has no clue on the dates of classroom and driving. Manager to call me back, he never calls. I was put through to 4 different people. Finally at the end of 4 weeks (they had my money $410.00) I have to call again to find out what is happening.... students will not switch a Thursday to a friday. The manager left me a nasty message on my voice mail. Awful school!!!!!!!!!!!
