Provided by YP.comI would rate it negative stars if I could. My husband just related his experience this morning at this diner. He drank his coffee and found something stuck to the bottom of the cup the size of an eraser. He called this to the attention of the staff and they told him it was a cup imperfection. Since he was able to scrape some of the material from the bottom of the cup, i don't think it was an imperfection. He requested a new cup and asked that the coffee be poured at the table. He ended up with a comment, "If you're going to be like that...". The server left the table, snickering, and continued with the person at the register. Customers are not jokes nor should they be the victim of jokes of the diner staff...the server should have looked in the original cup before pouring. The fact that someone does not want to open themselves up to potential illness and pointed it out to the staff benefits both people and is not laughable! I took them five minutes to ring up his drinks, still dealing with the staff's rude, ignorant attitudes. He left, never to return and hopefully anyone reading this will not bother either.

Provided by YP.comNever have I been treated so inhumanely by the staff and management of a restaurant. Not only was I verbally assaulted and physically threatened after asking which types of cereal the restaurant offers, but the wait staff spoke belligerently toward my daughter. The full story: we are from Israel, visiting family and staying at the Doubletree hotel across the street from this establishment. Our flight got in late because of the storm, and we wanted a quick bite before retiring to sleep. Since we keep Kosher, we knew our options would be limited to boxed cereal at the diner --- however, upon calling the El Dorado, the staff acted with such disdain and attacked our religious beliefs and practices, hurled incendiary anti-semitic remarks at myself and my daughter, and suggested that I "come outside" so that a particular waiter (presumably, he was a waiter) could "take me on." I do not know why these people were so immediately inflamed - and this particular waiter only increased his anger when I told him I was wheelchair-bound (after suffering an injury fighting for both Israel and the United States) and would not respond to his threat of violence. Ironically enough, the establishment threatened to call the police on US - when they were the true perpetrators of slewing epithets and making violent threats... all over cereal! I have already contacted the Anti Defamation League.
