Historic Hacienda del Sol, built in 1804 in the artist community of Taos, New Mexico is a special retreat, close to all of the natural and cultural wonders of the area. This was Mabel Dodge and Tony Luhan's first home together, where they entertained cultural luminaries like Ansel Adams, Will Cather, DH Lawrence and etc, etc. With 12 unique guest rooms, all with en suite bathrooms, the Inn offers the best view of Taos Mountain from our lovely grounds which abut the Taos Pueblo. Enjoy rich, historical charm in updated rooms which feature new sheets, towels, platform beds, soaps, shampoos and etc. Every night comes with a complimentary breakfast, full of healthy, delicious options like fruits, fresh breads, homemade frittata's, coffee, juice, yogurt and gourmet Italian meats and cheeses. We have numerous communal and private spaces both inside and out, and a relaxing hot tub in which to unwind. Exceptional local restaurant, The Love Apple, shares our driveway, and we highly recommend making a dinner reservation ahead of time.
