There usually is a waiting line at this PO. On one occasion, I had forgotten the number of my brand new PO Box and I waited in line to ask. But when it was my turn, the middle aged white guy with the long beard refused to help me, claiming others in line had more important needs. He didn't want to have to look up my POBox on his computer. I asked for a supervisor and waited some more. She helped me get the PO box number but seemed powerless to overrule the judgmental worker.

More recently, I changed my address using the USPS website, as I have done many times, due to seasonal relocations. It has always taken 2 weeks for this PO to complete that procedure and for my forwarded mail to arrive at my new address, despite the promise of fewer days. This summer, the promise was 7-10 business days, but it has been 15 business days (3 calendar weeks) and I have not yet received any forwarded mail, which has been building up for far longer in my PO box. My new local postmaster said there is nothing he can do, and my only recourse is to call the Oakellar post office. But nobody has answered the phone on several attempts. I'm stuck.

The facility is never clean and needs maintenance and updating badly. Chrinic problems include dead landscaping, dirty floors, "secure" waste paper receptacles with broken locks, and the self service weigh scale disappeared.

This p.o. is fine! It's not the most gorgeous place, hey it's a p.o., so very basic, but the staff is friendly and helpful. I've been to a horrible p.o. and this is not one. Average to slightly above average place.

This is the worst post office I have ever been in contact with. i have lived at my location for 7 months, however, my mail keeps being sent back as addressee move, left no forwarding address, return to sender, I have called, talked to supervisors who advise they will talk to my mail carrier and call me back. No return calls, I have finally had to file a complaint with th US Postmaster General. Visits to the post office itself has also been unsuccessful.
