Master Melissa Kyosah-nim Melissa Connatser opened Traditional TaeKwon-Do Center of Westchase November 8th 2015. She is a Tampa native with a diverse background in elite level athletics including attending Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre, gymnastics and performing globally. Kyosah-nim currently holds the rank of second-degree black belt and has been a TaeKwon-Do practitioner for over a decade. She has won multiple state championships and is known for her artistic flare during competition. Kyosah-nim has one daughter Alexandria whom she enrolled in Temple Terrace with Grand Master Gerhard Brunner. After watching her daughter train over the next few weeks she was motivated to join herself and make TeKwon- do a family journey. Kyosah-nim soon realized over time that it was her calling to open her own school. She has a love and passion for teaching. She would like to share, educate and pass on the philosophy of TaeKwon-Do. Kyosah-nim has become well established in the Westchase area for her leadership, sense of community and dedication to her students
