I had an engine remanufactured in my 2005 ford f250 in Feb of 2014 by tech 1. The place is not a fancy place to look at but you have to look past that. The work took about 3 weeks to a month but that is to be expected for a 5.4 liter 3 valve triton engine. I dealt with the manager Stephen who I felt was very honest. the reason why I didn't give 5 stars is all in all the engine runs perfect but what you have to watch is the install. #1 I had to replace the radiator after the reman because the transmission lines were taken off incorrectly which caused them to leak and the only fix was to replace the radiator. # 2 the oil drain plug was only finger tight. I went to do my first oil change after the reman as instructed and noticed this first hand. I have not contacted tech 1 because I live 50 miles south of tampa and after I fixed the issues myself the truck runs great.... bottom line is I would recommend them and I feel they treated my right.....
