SRI Surgical, with its corporate office in Tampa, Fla., provides central processing and supply chain management services to hospitals and surgery centers throughout the United States. It offers health care providers with reusable and disposable surgical products, outsourced instrument processing services and management systems. Its integrated closed-loop process starts with daily delivery of surgical supplies to the health care provider. At the same time, used reusable textiles and surgical instruments are picked up and returned to its processing facility, where they are sorted, cleaned, inspected, packaged, sterilized and shipped back to the health care provider for use. This system eliminates the need for health care providers to stock on-hand inventory and simplifies their surgical supply chain process. SRI Surgical operates from more than 10 Food and Drug Administration-regulated processing facilities, strategically located to service a large part of all surgical procedures performed in the United States.
