We have been coming here for over 25 years Alton and his Dad and the employes are wonderful,they will help you any way they can,they are friendly,great food prices.I used to belong to The Greater Brandon Avian Society,They donated to our raffle table and help us when we had Bird shows,we had to shut our Bird Club down.I'll never forget the support and help over the years. Great people,everyone should shop here,as a Business like this deserves our business.,If you haven't shopped here,you need to,Fresh feed,good dog food,they have every thing.

We have always been happy with them, people, product and prices included. Today we had an unfortunate incident with bugs in our parrot seed. My fiance left for work, I don't drive and we were OUT of seed. I called and Allan was SO sincerely apologetic. He was upfront and honest about not wanting to sell us a different bag from same lot. He was more than willing to credit me back (without bringing it back to him). He couldn't because he had to have my atm card present to do a debit refund. He tried for an HOUR to make it right. Ultimately we will go back later this week to square up and I am completely fine with it based on his sincerity and the effort he put forth to fix it. I *WILL* continue my business with Smelt because of thier customer service. And to be blunt- anyone who buys birdseed knows you get a yucky bag now & again, its going to happen. This is my ONLY experience with that from Smelt. Everything else has been AAA+++!!!!

Wow, can't beat the prices for parrot food!!! and supplies Highly recommend this feed store. you pay half for food what you would other places! & you get treated well and they acctually speak to you when you walk in, rather than ignore you like other places. save $ come here!!!

I got my chicken feed from Smelt. The guys there were knowledgeable, not pushy and very helpful. Their prices are good.

I purchase some bird supplies and it is of the highest quality. I drive from Pinellas to this store and even though I spend a bit for gas, it is still well worth the trip.Bill Burnside
