We are on our second large sailboat and have used Sammy for canvas work since 2010. He has always stood behind his work for us. When the zipper got torn out of our mainsail stack pack (not made by Sammy), he replaced it for less than half what I would have had to pay for the manufacturer to do it, and he made it better. He has done cockpit enclosures, biminis, dodgers, and sail covers for us, and all of them were well made.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! BUYER BEWARE-THEY DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR BAD WORK! Had a bimini made 6 weeks ago, on the second use, the main screws started coming out, one screw was lost completely and one of the poles beat up the side of my boat. Also made the bimini 1 foot taller than we agreed upon. Telling me it was no problem to fix, the owner of the business made 3 different appointments to fix the problems and never showed up or called to say he could not make it. Many excuses later they now refuse to answer or return calls. We tightened the screws ourself and 2 weeks later the set screws that hold the fitting on to the poles starting coming out. We had to tighten the set screws ourself (on the side of the road no less), now we are paying another company to lower it because these people refuse to stand behind their work. Save yourself a lot of money and agravation, find a good place recomended by someone you know. Unfortunately, there were no reviews on here at that time.
