If I could give less than one star I would. The breed standards mean nothing to these guys and they continue to purchase pups from breeders that breed substandard dogs. I was told this by "Mike" when I complained that I did not think that my dog was a purebred because breed standard says "short hair" and my dog ended up being a wire-hair.

The store has a variety of cute puppies but it is a terrible inhumane place. All of the puppies are from puppy mills and are kept in filthy conditions that is why the vast majority of them are sick and have problems. They don't tell you that because they want you to believe you are buying a healthy dog. Do not buy a dog from here you will spend even more money than planned.

I had a similar experience as the other reviewers. The state of Florida has a strict puppy warranty law that Puppy Town CANNOT make you waive by signing their warranty. The Dept. of Agriculture governs this law and they were quite helpful. The state statute provides that: 1. All puppies are covered for congenital or hereditary disorders for a year from the purchase date. 2. You have 14 days to have your puppy seen by a vet of your choice. 3. All reasonable vet fees are covered including all office visits, lab fees and diagnostice procedures. 4. Any expenses incurred at ANY VET are covered, Puppy Town CANNOT make you use their vet, they must reimburse your expenses. 5. Puppy Town can not make you purchase their PAWS warranty, they have to warranty all the puppies they sell. 6. Puppy Town is required by law to give you a copy of the state statute regulating the sale of dogs. Good Luck

Bought a puppy here two weeks ago and so far he has worms, ear mites and kennel cough. He smelled when i got him away from the store and it was very obvious he came from a breeder that raised him in a cage - he acted like he had never been on grass or carpet before or had room to run around. Ask lots of questions about the warranty before you let them include it in the price. Make sure you understand all of the terms and conditions because the people at the store will not explain it to you and the warranty has a lot of loopholes and conditions in order for you to be reimbursed should anything happen. All of that being said, I have a very cute, very sweet natured puppy.

Puppytown is a great place to find the perfect puppy . The staff is knowledgeable and helpful.The puppies are well cared for, playful, and happy. The store is beautiful and very clean.
