Merchants Association Collections Division, doing business as MAF Collection Services, is a collection and billing firm located in Tampa, Fla. Established in 1958, the firm serves clients in the medical and utility industries. Its collection management team is certified by the nationally recognized accreditation program operated by ACA International. Merchants Association Collections Division is a subsidiary of the Merchants Association of Florida, which provides specialized credit reporting, background screening, mortgage services, accounts receivable management, and commercial and consumer collection services. Founded in, 1916, Merchants Association of Florida has a staff of more than 100 employees. Its subsidiaries also include MAF Background Screening and MAF Mortgage Services.
