Best of...SUSHI ANYWHERE!!!

Living in Florida, we're pretty blessed to have fresh seafood at our disposal. I'm not sure how Matoi Sushi does it, but they consistently have the freshest, best tasting sushi I've ever had. You would expect some of the higher priced places like Samurai Blue or Roy's to have the best tasting sushi.... NOPE. Matoi is the best HANDS DOWN. Every time I have guests from out of town, I make it a point to take them to Matoi. Yes, it's a Korean restaurant, but their food is as good if not better than the homeland. Even my wife (who spent many years in Japan), thinks that Matoi is the best tasting. She bugs me every weekend to take her there. I can't complain because it's definitely the best sushi I've ever had. The service and the waitstaff are extremely friendly and awesome. Ask for Kim, she's been there for years and will take good care of you.

Can count on them

Being raised in Japan I love Korean food, Even though the name is Matoi's sushi the place is honestly a Korean resturant that offers sushi. The Yakiniku in this place is very good and close to authentic Korean tastes. Korean food is very popular in Japan, and I was lucky enough to travel to Korea on a few occassions. The best part of this resturant is to go for lunch, the prices are VERY reasonable, and complimentary side dishes make it the best bang for the buck. You'll get about 7 different flavors, beer, and lunch for around $10-15. HIGHLY recommended.
