Dr. Ferreira offers a compassionate comprehensive team approach to treating the disease of obesity. She has more than 20-years of experience in the treatment of obesity, which may include interventions such as nutritional counseling, meal replacements, increased physical activity, emotional and behavioral health counseling, medication if needed, and access to bariatric surgeons. In addition, Dr. Ferreira offers metabolic and hormone testing, body composition analysis, and diet and lifestyle recommendations to develop highly individualized programs you can maintain long term. Dr. Ferreira is board-certified in family medicine and obesity medicine. She is an active member of the American Academy of Family Practice, Obesity Medicine Association and American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery. She sees patients 18 years and older. To keep her busy during her time away from work, Dr. Ferreira enjoys traveling with her husband and three boys, scuba diving and live on-demand cycling classes exercises.
