Lanier Elementary School over the years has improved from C to D grades to A and B grades in the past 13 years since the grading system started in 1998 and right when this school first started their grades, they were not any good at all in the 90s and early 2000s. By the mid 2000s, late 2000s and early 2010s the grades improved dramatically from first (C, D) - 1990s, (C) - early 2000s, (B, C) - mid 2000s, (A, B) - late 2000s and 2010s grades. This school has improved big time. I started Lanier in 2005 and graduated from this school in 2008 and was fantastic ! The students grades in this school are much better than other schools compared to middle and high school grades. The teachers will not give up on you. And Sarah Jacobsen Capps is way better than Mr. Schoffer as a Principal. She is more strict and ever since then, Mrs. Jacobsen has made the school a much better place ! Go Lanier Elementary !
