Calling from a doc office on hold for 20 min. No one has time to be on hold for this long I feel bad for patients that call.

I don't know his name, I think that he was refered to by an assistant as "Jay" but I can tell you that this pharmacist is the greatest! This guy will take time to explain to you what you ask of him. He is very compassionate when it comes to "I need this script filled right away". I needed an antibiotic ASAP and he could tell that I was in misery. I no sooner walked away from the counter and the pharm rep was calling my name over the speaker that my meds were available.Thank you sir for not only doing your job, but going over and above!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Unfortunately, my first experience was unfavorable. I had dropped off my prescriptions for mom through the drive-thru and had been told that a pre-auth was needed so okay, at the time there was no rush but 3 days later my mom was breathing hard so I called & the "helper" told me that the scripts were not in the system. What??!! She suggested I go back to the doctor and request new ones, and I was calling on a Sunday.Ridiculous! I was upset & requested the pharmacist. He actually suggested I wait till Monday and speak to whomever I left the scripts with. Who was that?? I surely didn't know. Why should I? I left them there in the pharmacy. Finally he offered to do a physical check..(what a great idea doc!) He called back in an hour to tell me he had found them, didn't know why they were not in the system. I requested he fill part of the script and pay in cash. My peeve is the lack of generosity on their part - they never even offered to call Medicare. Turns out she is covered. Thanks CVS
