I have been going to this shop since the early 1980s (and the shop was still on Bearss Ave., where the CVS is now), and the food is always good and the ambiance is personal. If Jerry's there or Berta's not busy, they know my order: Roast beef on onion roll, with everything. It's wonderful. Last visit: 7/6/13

I've enjoyed Bearss Cuban Sandwiches for years. When I left FLA, I really missed their food. One of the first things I did upon returning was get one of their Cuban Sandwiches! Yum Yum!!! I pray they NEVER leave.

The most awesome sandwich shop in Tampa!!! Great food and even better owners with a dash of wit. A must stop if you come to Tampa.
