Baisden Gallery is a premier art gallery that specializes in contemporary paintings along with studio art glass by some of the world’s most prestigious glass artists. The gallery searches for and represents both well-known and emerging artists whose works show vision, originality, intelligence, beauty and technical prowess. The gallery runs consecutive, rotating exhibitions featuring at least one artist along with numerous others who are nationally and/or internationally recognized. Baisden Gallery has earned a reputation for featuring some of the world’s most esteemed artists, for producing museum caliber exhibitions and for showcasing emerging talent. Susan Baisden, the gallery director, opened the business in 2000. She has twenty eight years of experience in art sales and is a firm believer in the value of art for the community. She thinks that art is a catalyst for creativity in all aspects of life and that it should be nurtured. Her goals include bringing quality art into the lives of gallery visitors, helping make creating art a viable career for talented artists and supporting the growing cultural community of Tampa.
