General Info
Jim Azzarelli started Precision Paving of Tampa, Inc. in November 1983. Precision Paving became Azzarelli Paving and Site Development in January 2003. Jim had worked for Delta Asphalt from 1978 to 1983. His father's business, Azzarelli Construction in Illinois was established in 1946, just after WWII."Growing up in a construction family, I really got the bug for the business," Jim says. He worked in various areas of the business until he finally settled on asphalt paving as his favorite area of the industry."Working for Delta Asphalt, I got a well-rounded education in the asphalt business, and in mid-1983, I decided to go for it on my own." Jim says. Now the company has incorporated mid to large-scale site projects, such as; office parks, industrial warehouses sites, subdivisions, schools, and an assortment of service-convenient stores and fast food establishments.
