I went to 1603 Tattoos because I had a design and concept for a tattoo I wanted. The piece came out good and was $30 over what I thought it would be, so not bad price. They had to schedule a 2nd visit to finish it tho, and I was required to leave a deposit... so I didn't miss the appointment is what I was told. HERE'S THE PROBLEM. I was charged for my 2nd APPOINTMENT! I asked why the charge when I already paid for the tattoo atthe 1st visit. I was told (TO MY DISBELIEF) that you get charged each session for "custom work", even if the work is YOUR design! I wasn't told that on my 1st visit, when I paid for it, scheduled the 2nd visit so they could finish it cause he needed more time; or when I came for the 2nd visit! I have a number of tattoos (some BIG pieces) and pricing was always CLEARLY discussed at any shop. THOROUGHLY DISAPPOINTED! SCAM PRICING!!! BE ADVISED and make sure you get pricing in writing!!!
