I am so glad I got this survey as I now plan to follow up by doing the same on social media and review sites. About four years ago, thanks to Obamacare, I was able to get health insurance after being denied for several years due to pre-existing conditions. I did not know of any doctors in the area and chose Dr. Fox randomly. Over the next three years, I received the best health care and the Doctor allows for more than ample time with his patients. I can only imagine what my health would be if I had not received insurance and I now know that care is far better with Dr. Fox. Last year, I had moved to Delray Beach. I changed insurance companies last year and did not realize Dr. Fox was not a part of the plan. The difference in care and professionalism between my new doctor and Dr. Fox was off the charts. This year, I made sure my plan included Dr. Fox, even though I had a higher premium and at least a 35-minute drive to his office. Two months ago I had what turned out to be a MRSA infection. Thanks to Dr. Fox, he found me a surgeon to see immediately after leaving his office which not only avoided an ER visit or hospitalization, but saved me from a more severe bout. On my recent visit, he uncovered another immediate issue that again hopefully will now be minimal. In fact, with the quickest option for a test at the hospital's outpatient center, the admitting clerk mentioned to me how on issues like this she really likes how Dr. Fox is most proactive.I am so glad that once again, Dr. Fox is my primary. In addition, his current staff is top notch. The office manager Linda is so efficient and professional, especially in the situations where time is of the essence and simply is just a really nice person to deal with. People like Linda are the unsung heroes of most medical offices and I guess usually take all complaints and probably listen to everyone's heartaches which brings them to the doctor (while of course handling this with such compassion while fielding phone calls every other second). She seems to go out of her way to treat with properly and with respect compared to so many other offices. I guess it goes hand and hand with the way you are treated by the Dr. Fox in the exam room. His medical assistant (forgot his name) is also very thorough and caring and you can feel assured you are getting the proper care on his part as well.At a time when the high cost of insurance and the strain of the medical care system puts so many restraints on your care, it seems Dr. Fox throws most of it out the window by continuing to afford you all the time you need with him, follow up care and phone calls and a terrific support staff. My only concern is what will happen if and when they repeal and replace Obamacare in the case I am still dependent on it for maintaining insurance. In summary, sometimes you get bad doctors. Other times, you get quality doctors but bad bedside manner. With Dr. Fox, you get the best of both worlds and then some. In this day and age, you can't ask for anything more.
i.e., AI had the please of picking a new provider due to my insurance change with this economy being the way it is now and was given the name of Dr. Richard Fox of Tamarac at first I was skeptical about finding a new doctor but I figure what could happen so mi called and tried to schedule and appointment and was told that the doctor was completely booked and had no opening until the following months and that I would be put on a waiting list in case something becomes available and to my surprise I received a call with 24 hour as to an appointment had open up and that I was able to come in the next day and if I wanted to shorten my wait time I could come by the office and pick up a new patient packet and to bring a copy of my insurance card and proper identification so of course I rush over to the office and brought my identification and insurance card was had the please of meeting the doctor and his staff before hand I was very pleased to how they handle me not even having me as a patient they were very courteous so very attention to detail I didn't see people fussing and upset in the waiting room as to if they have been waiting for hours the office was very clean and well groomed and the office seem to me and if they loved they job . I even got a chance to see patient interact with the staff and they was as if they was apart of the family. the next day I had the pleasure of coming to my appointment when I arrived signed in and within about 10 to 15 minutes I was called in by and young man whom was very nice and made sure he completed my initial pre-exam by asking about my medications and how often I take that also gave me some insight as to what in store for the doctor visit ...And come the man of the hour Dr. Richard Fox whom I think is a life saver he gave me some insight as to how I should be taking my medication and the purpose of each medication and that what you want from your doctor is an explanation as to what should be happening with your body and what's to expect ...so in the end with check out and leaving the office I will Definitely recommend him to my friends, family, co workers, and church members local favorite, or highly recommended because

Dr. Fox is a good doctor but had to drop him due to rude, incompetent, impossible to deal with staff- they run the show! Messages go to voice mail and are not returned.
Dr. Fox is a very good Dr. We really like him and we are so glad to have found him. Be nice to his staff! They have the power to get you in to see the Dr. or get your message to him. My Mom and I find it very easy to be nice to them. Oh and don't tap on the glass or try to slide the glass over when it is closed, they hate that and it will only delay you getting to talk to or see anyone.
Dr Fox is an awesome doctor. His manor is great and I am sure everyone probably feels the same. Can't say the same for the other doc in the office. However I have run into a couple of problems trying to see the doc. Like all doctors his front desk blocks all contact or communications with the doc and when messages are left they do not reach the doctor as they were delivered. For myself I know that one message to try and get an expedited appointment, due to pending travel plans and possible serious health problems, was not delivered properly, according to one of the girls in the office. The first girl I left the message with had very specific directions as to tell the doc I was leaving before the weekend and the directions were apparently ignored or omitted by choice. A prior experience netted the same results with an offer for an appointment days after I left town. Due to this and this alone I have dropped the doc. And trust me it is my loss but bad staff will destroy any business.
