The Department of Psychology at Florida State University provides undergraduate, graduate and honors programs. The department is located in Tallahassee, Fla., and has been offering psychology courses for more than 50 years. It has a psychological laboratory and offers more than five doctoral programs, such as clinical, cognitive, developmental, neuroscience and social psychology. Its programs offer study of determinants of pathological behavior in children and adults, and physical, cognitive and social change throughout the life span. Additionally, it offers study of human behavioral problems. The department provides master s degree in psychology with a specialty in applied behavior analysis at the Panama City campus. It also offers research opportunities to its students and organizes training workshops. The Department of Psychology offers research and computer labs equipped with audiovisual aids and electronic equipment. It also operates a neuroscience laboratory that provides equipment and training for genetic studies.
