Operational since 1978, Jake s on the Lake is located on the shores of Lake Tahoe in the heart of Tahoe City, Calif. It offers mountain views. Its menu includes a variety of appetizers, salads, soups, seafood and desserts. The restaurant additionally offers a selection of wines, such as chardonnay, sauvignon blanc, cabernet sauvignon, merlot, zinfandel and pinot noir. Jake's on the Lake offers a special children s menu that includes chicken tenders, cheeseburger, pasta and grilled cheesy bun. It has dining rooms for weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, rehearsal dinners and other corporate functions. The restaurant organizes a range of events, such as Alpenglow Dinners and live music programs on Friday and Saturday nights. In addition, Jake's on the Lake operates a caf bar that offers tacos, grilled burger, grilled artichoke, steamed shellfish and varieties of beer, including Budweiser, Miller Light, Heineken and Coors Light.

Such a great restaurant in Tahoe City! We enjoyed our mother/daughter weekend and ate dinner at Jake's. Sat outside and the view of the lake was gorgeous! Most of us ordered the Parmesan crusted halibut...delicious!!!! They brought out the Hula Pie for my moms bday. Soooo good!

Great Food!...

Great food, service and drinks. We also love to go and just sit in the bar to listen to the live music.
