Of all the Resorts on the river, Diamondhead is by far the cleanest. The staff work hard to keep the grounds maintained, and all the trash pickd up. This is a large resort so keep in mind that there WILL be alot of people there depending on the time of year you choose. Not EVERY customer will be happy when they leave, because its impossible to please everyone!! Other reviews ive seen complain about other guests and that isnt exactly a fair rating to the owners or staff. They cant control the actions of the guests unless it warrants them a reason to step in. Diamondhead is not a Hilton, none of these resorts are. But they are the most newly remodeled of them all, and provide the most rafts and kayaks of them all. Your chances are much better at getting a raft here than anywhere else! They have a small store inside the office to purchase clothes, food, beer, anything you may have forgotten. They also have a food trailer that cooks fresh BBQ during the summer! We always stay here!!
