Dr Elliot and his staff are always very friendly and helpful. I love the way Dr Elliot is honest and shoots straight. He does not sugar coat. When I am discussing what is best for my animaks, I want the truth so I can make the best decision for their health. Will not go anywhere else.

I was looking for someone to crop my dogs ears(6.3 ounce 4 month old female schnauzer) my mom took her to get her ears cropped. I had never been to his office nor had I ever met him. My mom said that she had to wait 20 minutes to even get anyone to come to the front desk. When we went back to get her it didnt feel right dogs were wimpering, and the office felt erie. Dr.Bill Elliott took us back to the table were she was layingg her ears were bleeding and it looked like he had just cropped her ears within the last five minutes. Wen we got home she lay around, I understood she was in pain. But she was still in pain 5 days after that. Oh also she was very woozie from the medication they gave her and she wasnt able to walk for about 4 hours after we got home. Everyone knew that by now she should be back to her old playful self so why wasnt she. Day 6 after the vet visit she was vomiting, had diarea, and was dehidrated when we got her to dribk water she vomited it back up. So the next day we went to the vet(it was snowing and icy, unsafe to be on the roads) I held her the entire 1hour trip. I watched her die in my arms when we were 5 minutes away from the clinc she stopped breathing. Me and my mom walked into his office (tears running down our faces) and all he does is look at her and then sayed "she is dead" he had NO emocions he didnt even say any thing to comfort us no its ok, do you want a moment NOTHING. HE IS COLD HEARTED. I went to the car and cried my mom came out and said that he said it was parvo. I looked at all her symptoms on google HE OVERDOSED HER. HE KILLED MY BABY AND I CANT DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT.

I have been to a number of vets due to moving often and so far Dr. Elliott has been one of my favorites. Not only is he great with the animals but also the owners. I don't think Ive ever seen him without a smile. He saved my grandmothers dog after something attacked it and gave us 5 more years with her. My personal experience with him is in dealing with my cat. Lu is very important to me so I don't trust just any vet with her. But after seeing how he handles her, cares enough to talk about any questions I have, even will offer a few ideas to make her more comfortable. (shes an older cat) I have learned to trust him. He is very friendly to people and animals, his prices are resalable and he seems to genuinely care. I have recommended him to all my friends, even those who live in Tulsa.
I have been a client of Dr. Elliott's for nearly 7 years and have always been impressed with his knowledge and professional demeanor. My father is a practicing veterinarian and I spent several years working with him as an assistant, and I have had cat and dog companions all of my life. Dr. Elliott is a first-rate veterinarian who practices compassion and common sense as well as medicine.
I started using Dr. Elliott's service in 1993 while in college at NSU. When I moved back to Tahlequah for a job opportunity I started using his service again in 2001. Now I live in Albuquerque, NM and drive the pets back to Tahlequah when they need care. It is well worth the 10 hour drive to know my pets are receiving the best care available. The office staff are always polite and pleasant. Thank You, Kris Kirk Albuquerque, NM
I recently moved to Tahlequah and am occasionally required to board my two large dogs. As a recent transplant, I relied on the only references I know, that of my coworkers. Opinions at my office were divided on the quality of care and compassion an animal would receive at your establishment. I believe people experience things differently and chose to find out for myself. I have been in and out of your office several times for boarding and vet services. While customer service has been lacking I saw no immediate signs of concern for my animals. On the morning of January 20th, unsure of the exact time your office opened, I arrived at 7:20 a.m. to pick up my dogs. There were some lights on in the office but no activity. At 7:30 I approached the front doors and finding them unlocked, entered. Still, no person was present. The animals that were in the back were in hysterics, barking and yelping frantically. I called out several times, Hello? I paced from one end of the office to the other calling out. Even though I could not visibly see anyone I called the phone several times, only to stand there and listen to it ring. I searched for an emergency number that may have been posted to no avail. I walked outside in the rain and went around the entire building thinking there could have been someone outside cleaning kennels. NOTHING. The doors were unlocked and there was no one there! Finally at 7:45, after waiting for 25 minutes, irritated at the sheer creepiness and ridiculousness of the whole situation, I went to retrieve my dogs.On the way out I encountered you, Dr. Bill Elliot, and a young child. Upon seeing me with my dogs, you flung your bag across the room and began yelling and cursing at me (this letter purposely avoids discussing your decorum in front of children which is off the subject but speaks volumes of you as a human being)! I attempted to interject that I had in fact been there waiting and simply wanted to get my dogs and leave. You continued to scream and yell and flail your arms about like a lunatic. I moved towards the door at which point you came flying past us, slammed open the door and rushed outside still swearing. I put my dogs in my car and left. When I got home my two dogs devoured the water that was in their bowl and then a second. I fed them as they were still drinking their second bowl and they simply ignored the food. It was blatantly obvious to me that my animals were very DEHYDRATED!I will tolerate many things: your lobby smelling of animal urine, your indifference, a reference made on a previous visit, by you to me, regarding my lack of common sense but where I will draw the line is you and your establishment not caring for my animals on a most basic level. I do not expect them to be pampered or coddled but I do DEMAND that they get the fundamental respect every living creature deserves. Supplying animals with water would be one of them. I had no intentions of leaving without paying my bill. However, I also had no intention of giving audience to a grown man so that he might display such asinine behavior - especially in front of a young child. Are you void of any sense of decency? This question is rhetorical as I am already cognizant of the answer. My suggestion to you, sir, is this find a different occupation. You havent the heart or the character for your current one. As for my bill, the charge would normally be $20.00 for both dogs for one night. I am sending you $10.00. Half for the half-ass job you and your establishment did caring for my animals. Please be aware I will make it my personal mission to relate my experience to all of those whom ask.
