Metropolitan Market is a chain of supermarket stores in Washington, owned and operated by Food Markets Northwest. The supermarket offers more than 90 different types of artesian breads, including world famous Poilane bread from Paris and its signature Brie and Brioche bread. Its Deli offers Custom-made platters for dinner party and special events, complementary menu coordination and menu planning services, rotisserie chicken, prime rib and pork, pizzas, and a wide selection of sauces and dips. Additionally, the store provides natural and organic products, seafood, cheese, health and body care products, and a variety of wine and beer. It also provides online gift cards of various denominations. Metropolitan Market has store locations in Seattle, Federal Way and Tacoma, Wash., and actively participates in various community support programs. Through its Scrip Program, the supermarket offers a discount of 5 percent on purchases made in stores to schools and youth organizations in the greater Seattle and Tacoma areas participating in the program.
