Tacoma Steel is the "laser plate cutting" leader in the Northwest. We are able to handle everything from gauge material through 1-1/4" steel plate.Laser cutting is highly accurate. We can consistently save money for our customers by reducing their shop time preparation of parts. We stock a large variety of steel plate, sheet, bars, sq. / rect. tube, structurals, aluminum and stainless steel.Our main focus is value added "cut to size" material. We have invested large amounts of capital and effort, to establish numerous methods of cutting material to satisfy the needs of our customers.Tacoma Steel offers the greatest variety of in-house processing methods of any steel service center in the northwest. From the largest and most powerful laser on the west coast, to new, state of the art, oxy-fuel and plasma machines, to modern automatic saw-cutting equipment, iron-worker and drill-press capabilities. We put great effort into the preparation, packaging and delivery of our products. We are open to taking on complicated value added projects that most other service centers turn away. We have excelled in joining with our customers, to create "just-in- time" / "kan-ban"/ "kit" type production and delivery programs.
