The MultiCare Adult Day Health Center provides a variety of adult day services for older adults who are suffering from Alzheimer s disease, multiple sclerosis, stroke and developmental disabilities. It maintains a staff of nurses, therapists and aides that provides medical management, medication administration and education, foot and nail care, and wound and catheter management services. The center also provides memory stimulation and dementia care, nutritional counseling, community resource education and referral, and blood pressure, weight and glucose monitoring services. It additionally offers assistance with grooming and hygiene, health education, and individual and group therapy and exercise programs. The MultiCare Adult Day Health Center is located in Tacoma, Wash.
