- Medical Weight LossTreatments include nonoperative recommendations, such as injections, medications, weight loss plans, and exercise. Surgical intervention, often joint replacement surgery, may be needed if these areas are sufficiently worn-out.
- Primary CareOtolaryngologists, or ENTs (Ear, Nose, and Throat), are doctors who deal with issues of the head, neck, and throat. They treat a wide variety of issues in children and adults. Whether it’s sleep apnea, tonsils, allergies, or something more concerning, the otolaryngologist is the specialist to deal with it. In fact, it’s estimated that around half of patients that go to see their primary care doctor have some kind of ENT issue.
- Ear InfectionsSome doctors sub-specialize in the areas of Neurotology and Otology, which is dedicated to treating hearing loss, ear infections, and tumors involving the ear and skull.
- Emergency CareHernias form at a tear in the strength layer of the abdominal wall, called fascia. Fascia gives structural support to the muscles and when it is torn, the muscles retreat to where there is fascial support, leaving behind a weakness where a bulge or hernia sac can develop. Damaged or torn fascia requires surgery. Hernias get larger with time, and if left untreated, can entrap internal fat or even parts of your intestine. If the intestine is trapped in the hernia sac, it is called incarceration and requires immediate evaluation at the emergency room. The reason for this is that incarcerated bowels can result in a cut-off blood supply leading to intestinal strangulation, which means the tissue is ischemic or non-viable. Both incarceration and strangulation are indications for emergency surgery. We recommend elective hernia repair for this reason, whenever possible.
- ColonoscopyColorectal surgeons are trained to do colonoscopy to evaluate conditions of the intestine. They perform routine cancer screenings, remove growths, and perform biopsies.
- Infectious DiseasesA surgical specialty that focuses on the treatment of infectious diseases, trauma, and cancer in the head and neck. Common surgeries can include addressing cancers of the mouth and throat, thyroid gland, and salivary glands.

- Laser Eye SurgeryOphthalmologists are doctors that specialize in eye and vision care, diagnosing and treating a wide variety of eye conditions. They also perform eye surgery and can prescribe eyeglasses and/or contact lenses to correct vision issues. Additionally, an ophthalmologist can recognize problems in the eye that aren’t directly related, which can result in a referral to another doctor for treatment. Some ophthalmologists also choose to specialize even further and focus on an area of study that allows them to deal with even more difficult conditions for specific groups of patients.
- CataractsA condition where the eye’s lens becomes cloudy, preventing light from reaching the retina and may cause light rays to scatter which distorts the image and can cause blurry vision or blindness in children.

- PregnancyAn Obstetrician/Gynecologist, or OB/GYN, is a doctor who specializes in caring for a woman’s overall health. They can serve as a primary physician and often consult with other physicians to diagnose and treat symptoms. Women need to see an OB/GYN on a regular basis for preventative care, disease screening, family planning, including during pregnancy and childbirth, and reproductive health in general.
- Labor and DeliveryIncluding vaginal and Cesarean section births, trial of labor after cesarean / vaginal birth after cesarean section (TOLAC/ VBAC)
- GastroenterologyCrohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis, ulcerative proctitis, and indeterminate colitis are often managed in conjunction with our team in medical gastroenterology. Patients are often treated with a combination of medical and surgical options.
- EndoscopyExamination of the nose and throat with endoscopy, and possible imaging tests to determine the potential sites for obstruction. Treatments can often include a CPAP device, tonsil and/or palate surgery, nasal surgery, and possibly Inspire implant surgery, among other personally tailored surgical suggestions.

- UltrasoundOrthopedic doctors and surgeons are physicians who care for your musculoskeletal system, which includes your bones, joints, ligaments, nerves, and tendons. They specialize in diagnosing and treating injuries that commonly occur from sports or physical activity. They use a variety of tools to diagnose you, including X-rays, CT scans, ultrasound, and MRI. Though orthopedists are familiar with the entire musculoskeletal system, physicians will often specialize in specific parts of the body, so a treatment involving both the ankle and the back could require two separate doctors.

- X-Rays
- Computed Tomography
- Radiation OncologyColon and rectal cancer are the second most common cause of cancer death in the United States. Colon and rectal surgeons are specially trained to assess and remove these tumors and assist in a full functional recovery. We work alongside medical and radiation oncology specialists to ensure our patients have access to the best comprehensive cancer care available.
