From the moment we walked in one Sunday morning some four years ago, we were greeting by friendly, open and loving fellow Christians who read and follow the teaching of the Bible without all of the current liberal leanings. We soon joined as members as we felt we finally found our spiritual home.



Good Shepherd Lutheran is associated with the Missouri Synod, the original Protestant faith founded by Martin Luther. The Missouri Synod is conservative and keeps to the original meanings of Bible text, without today's political leanings.



Raised as a Roman Catholic and rejecting many of their teachings many years ago, both my spouse and I were looking for a spiritual church that actually read and followed the teachings of Christ, without the man-made doctrine that is not found within the Bible. It took me years of searching to find such a place and as it turned out, was closer than I realized. Good Shepherd Lutheran Church is located in my own neighborhood!



Along with wonderful and meaningful sermons, Good Shepherd Lutheran has a talented, world class musical director than never fails to significantly add tremendously to Sunday's worship services.



Sunday Services are at 8 AM & 10:45 AM, with a Casual Service at 5 PM.

Sunday School and Adult Bible Classes are at 9:30 AM.



Each September, a wonderful one hour class, over several Sundays is taught for those interested in church membership or learning more about the Protestant faith.



Good Shepherd Lutheran Church founded the Little Lambs Preschool for 3 & 4 year olds back in 2005. This is an outstanding preschool and is open to all in the community. Their tuition is low and their program is excellent.

As a couple, we were searching for a new, local church to join. From the first Sunday we attended Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, we were greeted warmly. The uplifting and informative sermons have always been interesting and thought provoking. The adult information class we attended was outstanding!
