The Foster Care Resource Network provides resources and training to foster families and licensed caregivers in Pierce and Kitsap counties in Washington. It manages the Resource Family Training Institute, which offers foster care preservice training programs. The center also provides first aid certification. It offers short- and long-term foster care, therapy and guardianship services. The Foster Care Resource Network organizes golf tournaments, conference and swimming parties for foster families. In addition, it publishes KFCA, which is a monthly newsletter that provides information related to various events. The center administers The Star Card Program, which offers discount on goods and services. It works in alliance with the Kitsap Foster Care Association and the Foster Parent Association of Washington.
