Sorensen Construction Incorporated is a licensed contractor specializing in communications utilities. We are currently one of the largest full service utility excavation contractors in the intermountain west. With offices in Utah, Montana and Arizona, we are prepared to meet your needs. Craig Sorensen started his own utility excavations company in 1977 with the purchase of a backhoe while working for Mountain Bell Telephone Company. Sorensen Construction Incorporated was founded in 1978, specializing in OSP communications infrastructure and constructing both aerial and underground copper and telephone cable projects. In 2000, SCI acquired Lumix, a structured cabling communications voice, video & data/telecommunications company. Lumix provides complete data, voice, copper, and fiber optic solutions. In 2001, SCI expanded operations to include offices in Missoula, Bozeman, and Billings Montana. In 2002, SCI expanded operations to include an office in Phoenix, Arizona.
