KJC Institute is the only community organization in Syracuse, NY that provides FREE educational services (K-8) year round to Public, Private and Home Schooled Children in Syracuse and its surrounding areas at no cost to the families it serves. KJC Institute also coordinates with school administration, parents, and students to provide community outreach designed to increase the community's capacity to advocate for educational equity and to provide critical cultural and vocational experiences for students and their families. KJC Institute programs help level the educational playing field by teaching creative and cognitive skills to students struggling to overcome economic, ability, or literacy barriers that will better equip them to be competitive and successful people.
