Delmonico's provided a wonderful dining experience for my travel-weary family as we drove through upstate New York. The lasagna was the best I've ever had in a restaurant. My wife and I could have shared the portion we each received, and I am not a light eater by any means. We had enough left to take with us to our hotel where we stashed it in the fridge and heated it up in the microwave for breakfast for my son and me! Yum! The boy ordered Fettucini Alfredo and pronounced it the best he'd ever tried. He had leftovers, as well.The prices were reasonable (especially considering the portions). The atmosphere is charming, with celebrity cartoons painted all over the walls. There is a Sinatra Room.
If you're looking for a great steak, then Delmonico's is the place to go. The staff is very friendly and outgoing, and they are very eager to please. Because of the type of steak, the only problem we've ever had is that my steak wasn't done enough to my taste. The staff was VERY efficient with fixing it, and our dining experience wasn't ruined. Our last visit also included a visit from the magician, which made the experience even more memorable. Highly recommended.
