  The field of health care services, in particular, is heavily regulated and complex. With regard to health care clients, counseling includes advice and preparation of forms such as admission agreements, private pay agreements and net available monthly income (NAMI) or surplus agreements with regard to long-term care providers.   To meet this need, Bond has a team devoted to assisting our college and university clients with fulfilling their Title IX obligations, understanding rule changes as they occur and helping them navigate the space where state and federal requirements intersect, or even collide. Our Title IX team consists of attorneys who are not only knowledgeable about Title IX and its newest regulatory requirements concerning the investigation and adjudication of sexual misconduct cases, but also as it relates to sexual assault prevention guidance and gender equity in athletics.

  We represented a physician who had been convicted of a federal misdemeanor and whose group, of which he was a partner, of a federal felony for misbranding a drug. We were able to persuade the Medicaid Inspector General not to exclude the physician from the Medicaid program, and the Office of Professional Medical Conduct not to take any action to interfere with the physician's ability to practice. As a result of our efforts, the physician has been able to maintain his practice, with all hospital privileges intact.

During OSHA's early years, Bond represented employers who had been cited for violations of the safety and health standards, assisted employers with accident investigations and guided them when OSHA citations posed a problem in personal injury or third party tort litigation.
