I think I'm just not impressed by brick-and-mortar bookstores anymore. They don't have many things I want/would buy, and this isn't unique to B&N. My biggest issue is the way this store is laid out. Hyper-categorizing fiction leads to a lot of confusion. Is Andrew Vachss in Fiction/Lit, Mystery,... Oh, wait, they don't have anything by Vachss in the store. Le Guin is in at least two different categories, Stephen King is Fiction/Lit. Basically, it's jut hard to find anything without asking the desk, and good luck getting a copy if it's not an NYT best seller.
