Founded in 1951, Arc of Onondaga is one of the largest providers of care services to people with developmental disabilities in the United States. The organization offers a variety of residential, vocational, rehabilitative and clinical services and programs. Its enhance day habilitation program teaches self-help, socialization, adaptive, manual and perceptual motor skills. The organization also provides on-site occupational, physical and speech therapies and pathology services through the Arc of Onondaga's Horizons Clinic. It offers senior retirement and recreation al services. The organization additionally operates a center for children that provides day care, parent support, and evaluation and transition services. Arc of Onondaga operates a program development department and is located in Syracuse, N.Y.
