For four months, the pharmacist told me my son's medicine was on back-order from the manufacturer. I was provided with an equivalent dosage at twice the cost (it really should have been the same price because it was a stock problem). In frustration, I went to another pharmacy. The other place had it in stock and about $30 less than the original price at CVS. Since the other place had it in stock and continues to keep it in stock, I must believe that CVS deliberately rips off customers who pay out of pocket on prescriptions until annual deductibles are met.
