Established in 1979, Sycamore Child Care is a nonprofit organization that specializes in a variety of child care services. Located in Sycamore, Ill., the organization offers assistance with the physical, emotional, social and cognitive growth and development of children. It provides educational programs that focus on conflict resolution and crisis intervention. Sycamore Child Care offers a range of outdoor activities, such as swimming, snow bowling and bike riding. In addition, Sycamore Child Care s language development classes include reading and singing. The agency s indoor activities include sensory experiences, art projects, music, group time, story reading and dramatic plays. It is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children and is a member of Community Coordinated Child Care.

I took my child to this center. The center was in terrible condition because general maintenance has been neglected as well as mold being an issue throughout the building. The directors were aware of all of these issues and still did nothing. The directors were also very rude and that is when they were ever there, otherwise only the other employee were in the office and available to answer my questions. Only some of the teachers were well qualified and they were the only reasons that I kept my child there as long as I did, but in my opinion you are better off taking your child somewhere they can learn more and be in a more clean and safe environment.
