The Civil Process unit deals in small claims, orders, divorce papers, evictions and a variety of legal documents. It is a part of the Patrol Division, which offers services that include traffic stops, warrant arrests and house checks. The division is a governed by the DeKalb County Sheriff s Office, which works with a team of more than 90 staff members. The office offers patrol and electronic home monitoring services. It operates an investigation division that handles criminal and in-depth investigations. In addition, the DeKalb County Sheriff s Office manages field operations and corrections divisions. It is governed by DeKalb County in Illinois.
