Chartered in 1919, The American Legion is a nonprofit community service corporation that has more than 2 million members. It is one of the world's largest wartime veterans organizations. The organization administers several scholarship programs the Legion Riders program. The American Legion also provides various sports activities, such as baseball and shooting. It offers a range of membership options. The organization works in collaboration with the Children's Miracle Network, Mercy Medical Airlift, Boy Scouts of America, and The Spinoza Company. The American Legion conducts group sessions that focus on topics related to management techniques and leadership skills.
