I'd like to comment on some recent visits to my local Monro shop that are pushing my away from your business. In the past I felt as though I'd been treated fairly at this location & my business was appreciated. However lately I've been getting exorbitant estimates for basic work that has prompted me to seek alternatives. I'm talking an estimate to replace (2) outer tie rod ends in the area of $500.00. Another for replacement of (1) lower control arm & stabilizer links for $400.00. Honestly, I was so put off by these prices that I ordered tie rod ends, (2) lower control arms and the stabilizer links for less than $200.00 and did the work myself. I still need struts and a wheel bearing and had not ruled out having Monro do the work until yesterday. Yesterday I ran over something that caused a flat tire. On my way home I stopped at Monro to have it repaired. A razor blade was removed form the tire, the tire was patched and balanced and I was told $40.00. I really had no choice as I did no
