Established in 1988, Lassen Municipal Utility District offers the customers various rebate programs designed to save energy and reduce the customers utility bill. Based in Susanville, Calif., it provides rebates for the purchase and installation of EnergyStar appliances, as well as on electric water heaters. The company has affiliation with a number of firms, such as California Municipal Utilities Association, Western Area Power Administration, Northwest Public Power Association and many more. American Public Power Associations awarded Lassen Municipal Utility District the honor of Reliable Public Power Provider.
