Hush puppies are amazing and if you have the chance to sit outside, you'll get great view of the water. little pricey and service was a tad slow but the food was good.

I loved Indigo Marsh and I was so disappointed as soon as we walked in. They have turned one of the nicest restaurant locations on the island into a cafeteria. Indigo Marsh had such great ambiance, but this place just feels trashy. They have cheap plastic tables and chairs on the patio. They have traded in the candle light and table cloths for plastic,squirtable ketchup and tarter sauce. Indigo Marsh did a nice job of hiding the trailers that border the restaurant, but Cheri's makes no such effort. They advertise better prices, but it is really not much different in price than Indigo Marsh. They say that steaks start at 11.99, but that is chopped hamburger steak- hardly a real steak! Also, they have a TERRIBLE and completely overpriced wine selection. They offer only two brands of wine- Duplin and RayLen. A carafe of Duplin wine for $25? Are you kidding? A full bottle of that stuff is $7.99 at Harris Teeter! And a carafe of RayLen for $35? A full bottle is around $12-$13. It is insulting to assume that people will not see what a rip off that is! Basically, the owners have stripped the place of everything that was nice about Indigo Marsh (i.e., a classy, romantic atmosphere, extensive bar menu, and excellent food), but kept high prices. For those of us who live here and enjoyed having a classy date night spot, this was just sad.
