The City of Superior Street Division oversees the repair and maintenance of city-owned bus shelters and city equipment that includes fleet vehicles. Located in Superior, Wis., the division also repairs and maintains traffic signs and signals. It is also responsible for the maintenance, repair and snowplowing of city streets. In addition, the City of Superior Street Division maintains alleys, bridges and drainage systems. The division is a part of the City of Superior Public Works Department, which offers recycling and solid waste collection services. In addition, the department conducts inspections to ensure compliance with commercial license requirements. It operates through community development, landfill and environmental services divisions.
