Incorporated in 1967, Northwest Wisconsin Community Services Agency Inc. is a community-based organization that serves low-income residents. The organization offers various programs to alleviate the needs of disadvantaged, such as homeless programs and services, food pantries and emergency assistance. Based in Superior, Wis., it offers tax return preparation in partnership with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) as a part of its Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program (VITA).
