JAFCO, also known as Jewish Adoption and Foster Care Options, is a nonprofit agency established in 1992. It has expertise in the areas of family preservation, case management, emergency shelter, and foster care placement, supervision and support services. The agency operates a children center that features living and dinning room, kitchen, computer laboratory and outdoor play area. In addition, JAFCO offers individual, group and family therapies, as well as psychiatric services to children. It conducts home sanitation inspection and physical and psychological examinations. The agency organizes summer camps, educational classes and training sessions to individual and families. JAFCO is located in Sunrise, Fla.
