  Amalgam was once thought to be the best material for fillings. It lasted a long time and many patients were treated with amalgam fillings.
• Resin Composite
  We do not use amalgam fillings and instead recommend having older amalgam fillings replaced with composite resin fillings. Composite fillings match your natural tooth colour, making the filling much less noticeable and giving the restored tooth a more appealing appearance.
• Veneers
  You can drastically improve your smile and your confidence with porcelain veneers. Veneers can be used on one or more teeth to close gaps, correct misshapen teeth, repair chipped teeth, straighten crooked teeth and whiten stained teeth. By having thin shells of porcelain bonded to existing teeth, porcelain veneers work just like your natural teeth. The process only requires two visits and the results can be dramatic!
• Crowns
  Dental crowns offer protection for the tooth underneath. They also offer a more pleasing appearance for compromised teeth.
• Bridges
  If you have missing teeth, you can regain the appearance of a full set of teeth with a dental bridge. A bridge will use your existing teeth as support, and will fill the gap of a missing tooth, or teeth, with a custom-made replacement that matches the colour of the surrounding teeth.

  Therapy is a dental treatment, also called endodontics. Rather than being a painful procedure it will instead resolve your dental issue and alleviate the pain you may be experiencing. Putting off root canal therapy, when it’s needed, can cause your issues to become more serious and painful than having the treatment done.

  Every patient’s situation will be different, but to be a good candidate for this procedure you should be in good general and oral health and your jaw will require a minimum amount of remaining healthy bone in the area where the implant will be placed. If not, we may discuss the option of bone grafting with you.

  Dr. Todd graduated from the University of Alberta in 1999 and joined the Alpha team in 2004. She provides comprehensive, functional and esthetic dentistry while also incorporating the use of Invisalign® orthodontics.
• Invisalign Orthodontics
  When you come in for your free consultation appointment with one of our Calgary Invisalign dentists, we will begin by discussing your goals for your smile. We will take digital x-rays, photos, and impressions of your teeth to determine if you are a good candidate for Invisalign treatment.
• Braces
  If you have more severe orthodontic issues, you may need regular braces and we will refer some patients out to an Orthodontist if that better suits your needs.
