Craig McKenzie, the owner, likes people to know that Jim's Auto Center is a family business. His wife Laura assists in the shop sometimes. His son Zachary used to work there, too. Now there are two grandsons ages 8 and 1 coming up to learn the trade. What does he like best about owning an auto repair shop? Being the best in everything. Every other weekend you might find him at the race track: National Trail Raceway, Summit Motor Sports Park, Dragway 42, Kil-Kare Speedway, Pacemakers Dragway. Does he win? "Not as much as I like to..." When he's not racing, he's riding. He and his red Harley-Davidson motorcycle go anywhere there are curves - and no freeways - especially eastern Ohio, in the mountainous, curvy areas.
